From Cinco C’s: Gorgeous Classic Grey Male! To say we are excited about Chicago is an understatement. Besides his beautiful phenotype, and bright, dense, well structured fleece........his genetics are just not available in our area. Chicago is a compact male with very solid bone structure and a mighty fleece. The fleece is dense, fine, consistent and has amazing structure. He finished his show career with Reserve Champion Banners in the Jubilee and the Gala at MAPACA 2018. Robin is a beautiful and conformationly perfect true black female out of Majestic Peruvian Jeremiah. Faye Farley of Majestic Meadows Alpacas says Robin is one of the last of Jeremiah's offspring, maybe the last. But wow! He really saved one of the best for last! Holly Jo is a beautiful bay black female with very fine fleece and nice staple length. At her first show she took a second place as a bay black juvenile. Since then she has been showing as indefinite dark and even though the classes were small she earned very positive comments from the judges. She gave us a beautiful bay black female cria we are calling Robin Song. She is out of MFI Peruvian Jeremiah. We are very excited to see what Robin will do in the show ring next spring! From Cinco C’s: We are so proud to add this beautiful male to our breeding line-up. Majestic's Dark Chocolate's impressive juvenile show results will speak to his high quality. He is a cross between the Majestic Peruvian Jeremiah line and Snowmass Velvet Touche line. The result is a stunning male that is rich in color and Oh So Special. Dark Chocolate won three championships as a very young juvenile and is destined to be a major contributor to our breeding program. His fleece is soft, dense, bright and crimpy and there is tons of it. Add to this his beautiful phenotype and you have the makings for an impact male with all the attributes you love to see in a male. Although, Chocolate is very dark brown, we're hoping he can help us add his wonderful fleece characteristics to our program in black, as he carries no dilution. Edison is a beautiful, fleecy copy of his sire, MFI Armoire. Edison's fleece has been described as " the definition of density" and multiple times as " a carpet" most notably by judge Wade Geese. Edison does not mind standing still and allowing us the pleasure of burying our hands into that wonderful soft, dense fleece. He continued to produce fleece with a very nice staple length even at 31 months old and his fleece is a dream to work with. At 2 years old his AFD was still 19.9 with a SD of 3.5 and CF of 98.9. He has wonderful conformation and excellent bone structure. He also has a very nice personality and has passed that onto his progeny. He brings many wonderful lineages to the table including 4Peruvian Legacy/ Snowmass Millenium, Jeronimo and others. Eddie began his show career late but consistently took a first place in his class. Edison has several progeny on the ground one of which is here at the Buckeye this weekend; take a look at Northern Blessings Freyja. Edison has been consistent in producing color when bred to color. We have not genotyped Edison but have had 2 of his babies genotyped. Northern Blessings Edward is Ee Aa3. and Freyja is ee a2a2. We can assume that Freyja inherited a black allele from each parent. We think that he is a very special boy!
