Aurora is a well put together alpaca. She is a comptetative white female with a long staple length. Her 2013 clip was consistently at or over 5"! She has lovely character, long staple length, and density without compromising fineness. Roman carries a well nourished fleece that is of better than average fineness and density. We look forward to seeing his offspring grace our pastures.

CPA Meja is very uniquely colored female. We would call her a dark fawn with vicuna markings. Her conformation is outstanding and her head is very pleasing. She has a long staple length of 4 3/4 "- 5 1/4" in 2013. Her fineness and handle are also very noteable. We are anticipating a stellar cria from her. She is currently bred to our fawn reserve color champion My Peruvian Excalibur....

We purchased White Knight a few years ago from our firends at Heaven's Hill Alpacas. He is a bold, conformationally correct male with a commanding presence. We are extremely excited to add Encanto to our breeding program. For many years now, we have admired the offspring of his dam, Snowmass Escobar's Sonata. Each year, Sonata produces exceptional cria, and now, her oldest crias such as Donno Bello (see Xanadu Alpacas) are following down the same path as their dam with amazing consistency and outrageously good fleeces. Sonata's sire, Escobar, was one of the best sons of Hemingway. Sonata's dam and granddam, Andean Song and Duet have had a very significant impact on Snowmass's herd and have produced numerous herdsires including Snowmass Elite Legend. MFI Eastern Light is a unique alpaca. Her coloration is fawn, but it truely is not your average "copper penny" medium fawn alpaca. She has peachy undertones to her color that is very uniform. Kind of like the glowing light of sunrise, which we suspect is the reason for her name, Eastern Light! Even at the age of 8 in 2013, she still has a fine fleece, brilliance and lack of extending primaries. Although she does not have the character in her fleece as she did in her younger days, she is still producing our top animals....
